Recover Missing Norton Identity Safe Toolbar on Google Chrome
0The toolbar of Norton is automatically installed in your computer when you install any of its products like Norton Antivirus, 360. Security, Internet Security or any other. However, for some web browsers, you may need to install the extension from the respective web store. To recover Norton Identity safe toolbar, follow these steps:
- Firstly, update your Norton software from its Update Center in case you have a valid active subscription. If your current product is up to date then it’s ok.
- Now, run LiveUpdate by starting Norton.
- Go to the main window and click Security.
- Now, select LiveUpdate. If in case you downloaded its product from the website, click Settings icon and move to About tab. Now, check the new updates from here.
- When it is completed, select OK button.
- Launch the product until the message “Your Norton product has the latest protection updates” appear to you on the screen.
- Now, exit the window and reboot the system.
- To enable Norton Toolbar in Google Chrome, follow the given steps:
- Open Norton and double-select on Identity option.
- Click Identity Safe and then select the Settings icon.
- Move to the General tab, next to Google Chrome and then click Install extension.
- Now, follow the on-screen guidelines to install the extensions. Add all the extensions to get full web security.
